Dried Lemon Whiskey Sour

A classic whiskey sour with whiskey, fresh lemon, simple syrup and an optional egg white, finished with a Dried Yet. lemon wheel.

Why dried lemon works in a whiskey sour

A whiskey sour balances whiskey, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup, with optional egg white for a softer texture. The drink already has bright citrus in the recipe, so a Dried Yet. Lemon Slice reinforces the same flavor cue while giving the finished rocks glass a clean, ready-to-serve look.

Set one dried lemon wheel on the rim or rest it against the ice after straining. Because the garnish is dry, it adds a visual citrus cue without changing the measured lemon juice in the recipe.

Serving and presentation

Use fresh ice in the rocks glass and place the lemon wheel where it stays visible from the front of the drink. If you use the optional egg white, the pale foam creates extra contrast with the golden whiskey and dried lemon wheel.

For a bar menu or a larger gathering, keep the measured recipe consistent and add the garnish only after the drink is strained. That separates the garnish step from shaking and helps each finished drink look consistent.
